Bright Start Program

Pre-school Children
(Age 3 – 5 Years)

The Bright Start Program centres heavily on the “Ants in the Apple” phonics program.

Our aim is to foster the “Ants in the Apple” approach to teaching phonics. Many schools in our local area use this program and we feel that students will be better prepared for school if they are familiar with the “Ants in the Apple” characters and song.

There are three levels to our Bright Start program:

Bronze Level (3 years prior to school)

Students will learn the “Ants in the Apple” song, work on handwriting and number activities and develop fine motor skills.

Silver Level (2 years prior to school)

Students will learn the “Ants in the Apple” song, work on handwriting, sound discrimination, number, and art & craft activities.

Gold Level (1 year prior to school)

Students will learn the “Ants in the Apple” song, work on handwriting, sound discrimination, early reading strategies, number, and art & craft activities.

Kinder Beat Music Program

Pre-school Children
(Age 2 – 5 Years)

Kinder Beat classes provide an opportunity for children to enjoy music and express themselves creatively by being involved in active music making. Classes encourage children to develop in general ways (such as confidence and social skills) and to build a foundation for the child’s future musical education by developing skills in the basic musical concepts.

The Kinder Beat program utilises groundbreaking early childhood education principles and introduces young children to music in a way that stimulates all their senses. It features many activities that children need for brain development and acceleration.
